Griffith University staff and students are encouraged to log into the Griffith Portal and purchase parking permits online. These instructions are a step-by-step guide through the process.

  1. Log into the Griffith Portal using your sNumber and password.
  2. Click on Parking, Transport and Travel, located on the left hand side of the screen under Griffith Portal.
  3. Under the Parking Folder, click on 'Apply for a Parking Permit'
  4. Follow the online prompts.
  5. Print your confirmation form once you have finished the process, then click on the 'Sign Off' tab to exit back to the Portal or web.

Payment options

Online

If you have paid online by credit card or you are a staff member and opted for salary deduction or salary packaging, you should receive a confirmation email reply and your permit will be sent to you via post to the address you agreed to in the application (this may take up to 10 working days before you recieve your permit and during this time you cannot display your receipt for parking purposes. You must purchase a day parking permit). Please ensure the correct address is stated on your application.

Cashier on campus

If you have opted to pay by cash, credit card, cheque or money order, take your confirmation form with payment to the cashiers office on your campus. The cashier will process this and issue you with a permit.

Please note your application will expire after 7 calendar days, if you do not pay for your permit. If this occurs you just need to re-apply.

Mail

Once you have printed and completed the application form, you can pay by cheque or money order (made payable to Griffith University) through the post to the Parking Section.

Please note that completion of an application form does not guarantee issue of a parking permit.
