Human Research Ethics Manual
The University is in the processing of producing a booklet-based manual to assist in the design and conduct of human research. These booklets will address specific areas of ethical concern, the operation of the University's research ethics arrangements, and offer advice on some categories of activity.
During the course of the coming months the first edition of the various booklets of the Manual will be available for download from this page in pdf format. This will shortly be replaced by a completely online version of the Manual and a powerful search engine to assist applicants to find the reference they are seeking.
These documents have been produced as a resource for applicants for ethical clearance and as a reference tool for the University's ethics committees. You are invited to provide feedback and suggestions about the Manual to inform this work and the production of the next edition of the booklets.
