Participation of Humans in Research
Griffith University is committed to the ethical conduct of research. There are a range of international, national and Queensland guidelines, regulations and legislation which relate to the ethical conduct of research involving humans and use of animals for scientific purposes. The University's animal ethics and human research ethics arrangements have been established to assist students and staff to meet these requirements. An important guiding principle of the University's human research ethics arrangements is the facilitation of excellent work.
This web site has been produced as a resource for researchers, teachers, support staff, and the wider community to explain the University's human research ethics arrangements, to provide resources and the details of sources of advice and assistance within the University, and to assist applicants in obtaining appropriate ethical clearance for their work.
