Dob a Drip and help reduce water consumption at Griffith

Dob a Drip requires all staff to do exactly that – dob in all drips and leaks seen around campus. To dob in a drip you can contact maintenance staff at:

As a staff member or student of Griffith University, you can help minimise water consumption a number of ways. The first is via the Dob a Drip program.

How You Can Help

Saving water can be as simple as paying attention to how much water you use every day and trying to cut back a bit. Below are some simple methods you can apply in your every day tasks at work to reduce water:

  • Do not leave the tap running for a long time while you are washing your hands
  • Turn off taps when you have finished using them.
  • Ensure dishwashers are at capacity loads - smaller loads are a waste of energy and water.
  • Don't flush foreign matter (such as paper hand towels) down toilets.
  • Keep a jug next to the sink and collect water when you're waiting for the hot or cold to come through - use the water to water plants in the office
