When you begin University, you join a vibrant and diverse community. It's an exciting challenge, but sometimes it can also be a little overwhelming. Getting to know the people and environment can help you to feel more settled, organised and confident.

It might be helpful to visit your campus before University classes start and have a look around. Spend time finding out important things such as where to go on your first day, where you can park, where your classes are and where you can buy lunch. Knowing how you are going to travel to University and how long it takes well ahead of your first day can also prevent the stress of running late or getting lost.

Being aware of who's who and how different parts of the University work can help you to more confidently find the information and help you need. There are over 3500 members of staff across Griffith's five campuses. Many of them are here specifically to help you navigate your academic, administrative and personal journey.
