The Basil Jones Orchestral Hall is an ideal performance venue for small concerts, masterclasses and rehearsals. It is also an excellent venue for functions, with standing room for up to 300 people.

Communication technology was installed for us to create a large media dispatch room. Practice spaces were turned into meeting rooms. The Basil Jones Orchestral Hall was turned into a function space. What ever we requested the Conservatorium staff found a way to make it happen.

Acoustics

The Basil Jones Orchestral Hall is fitted with the same type of acoustic panelling found in the Conservatorium Theatre. It is a venue with a bright sound that can be dampened by the adjustable acoustic panels and by use of the large curtain. on the western wall.
