Corporate entertainment areas, a spacious foyer and breakout rooms are available in addition to, or independently of, our major venues.
Foyer and balconies
Use of the spacious entry-level foyer is included in the Conservatorium Theatre hire. It is also available for independent hire, ideally suited for trade displays, exhibitions or functions. As a performance venue it particularly suits choral music and baroque instrumentation, with the capacity to have performances from the balcony. The third level balconies and foyer can be used to complement your event or seminar for pre- and/or after-show functions and displays.
Boardroom
Situated over the atrium of the building on the third level, the Boardroom provides spectacular views of the Brisbane River, South Bank and the City, making it ideal for receptions before and after events. Its large sectioned table seats 20 people and a small kitchenette facility adjoining the room is available for catering requirements.
Lecture rooms
The four lecture rooms are perfectly suited for breakout spaces and seminars. Two of the rooms are set in lecture format with desks and chairs for up to 70 people, while the remaining two rooms can accommodate up to 40 people. They all include a piano and lecture room AV facilities.
Teaching and practice studios
These studios are available for those who require rooms for auditions, practice time or a one-off teaching space.
