Research/Creative Expertise

  • Concerts and master classes in over 50 countries;
  • Solo performances with orchestras on five continents;
  • Numerous LP and CD  recordings of solo repertoire and chamber music;
  • Several cycles of the Bach Cello Suites and Beethoven Sonatas;
  • Regular recital activity and performance of chamber music for piano trio and other combinations including performance of newly commissioned works by internationally acclaimed composer.

  • Member, Queensland Conservatorium Ensemble-in-Residence, Griffith Trio;
  • ?Grand Prix? at the International Cello Competition in Paris 1972;
  • Winner of the Young Performer Concerto Competition of the Swiss Broadcast Corporation 1973;
  • Associate Professor, Indiana University (USA);
  • Principal Cellist, Winterthur Symphony Orchestra, member of  Winterthur String Quartet (Switzerland);
  • Professor of Cello, Musikhochschule Winterthur/Zurich;
  • Professor, International Summer Academy Bern (Switzerland);
  • Honorary Guest Professor, Conservatorium of Music, Shenyang (China), Xinghai Conservatorium Guangzhou (China), China Conservatorium and Central Conservatorium Beijing, and Vietnam National Academy of Music (Hanoi).
