Research/Creative Expertise

  • Piano concerto recorded for Vienna Modern Masters (1992, CD);
  • Compositions include music for stage and film, television commercials and electronic, dance and concert music;
  • Current major project 'From Byrnestown' a multimedia theatre piece about the little known history of cooperative settlement in Queensland during the 1890s.

Teaching and Other Experience

  • Original works commissioned and performed by various orchestras and leading Australian groups, including The Seymour Group, Synergy and The Song Company;
  • Works performed at the World Music Days Festival in Zurich;
  • Awards the inaugural Paul Lowin Song Cycle Award, the A.H. Maggs commission, and an Australia Council Composer Fellowship.
