Programs and courses

You can engage with the Queensland Conservatorm in a variety of ways. We have a diverse range of programs and courses for a wide range of ages and levels of musical study.

Tertiary courses

Queensland Conservatorium offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs, including research higher degrees. These programs allow specialised areas of study and extensive performance practice.

Preparatory studies

Our continuing education courses are beneficial if you have not had sufficient prior study in music at the time of audition. In addition, our Young Conservatorium offers a broad range of music courses for pre-tertiary students. Secondary school students will find our Tertiary Preparation of particular interest if considering applying for a place at the Conservatorium.

Professional development

Music teachers find the Open Conservatorium offers a variety of professional development programs during the year.  Professional development courses can also form a pathway to postgraduate study and teaching qualifications that may be recognised by Education Queensland.
