The USA Participation Scholarship is offered in partnership with the Western International Band Clinic and Young Conservatorium. Young Conservatorium students enrolled in the Young Conservatorium Wind Orchestra have the opportunity to audition for participation scholarships for the Pacific Honours Ensemble Program on the following instruments: Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba and Percussion.

The Pacific Honours Ensemble Program forms part of the Western International Band Clinic held in Seattle, Washington, USA and involves rehearsals and performances with six different guest conductors from all over the world in an intensive four day program.

Fee
Scholarship assistance is provided for meals and accommodation. Participants will be required to fund their own airfare.
Entry
Applications to audition will be called for in March 2010.
