Concert Band and String Orchestra Repertoire Reading Day

Rapid Reading Day gives teachers and conductors the opportunity to access the finest quality repertoire available for ensembles in 2012 in a live capacity. The day will provide an occasion to share and discuss ideas and considerations for future performance. Participants are also encouraged to bring their instrument and join others in performing these outstanding new works.

  • 10.30am - Registration/Tea and Coffee - Trade Displays
  • 11.00am - Session 1 - Strings (Opera Space), Band (Basil Jones Orchestral Hall)
  • 12:30pm - Lunch in Foyer/Trade Displays
  • 1:30pm - Session 2 - Strings (Opera Space), Band (Basil Jones Orchestral Hall)
  • 4:00pm - Wine, Cheese and Trade Displays
  • 5:00pm - Conclusion of event
