Beyond professional development

Some of our courses are available as part of a postgraduate program or provide a solid introduction to more indepth postgraduate subjects. While taking a course with us, consider enrolling in a Graduate Diploma of Music Studies or a Master of Music Studies. You may be able to gain credit for your course by undertaking an additional assessment package.

The Instrumental Music strand of our Graduate Diploma of Music Studies is recognised by Education Queensland and may assist instrumental music teachers become eligible for permanency with Education Queensland.

Repertoire for bands

These lists of quality works for band are assembled by Mr Ralph Hultgren as part of his work to investigate new music in respect of its relevance to the training of conductors and as performance repertoire at all levels. These lists are also utilised in music selection lists by various festivals around Australia.
