As a Music Technology (MuTech) graduate, you'll develop the know-how, experience and networks to take advantage of rapidly evolving international opportunities in the music industry, whether you're beginning your career, updating your skills or exploring new career paths.

Studying Music Technology at the Queensland Conservatorium will have you using cutting edge technologies to make music in new and creative ways, enabling you to carve out a unique niche in a world of expanding possibilities.

Music technology studio

The Queensland Conservatorium provides the most comprehensive Music Technology degree in the country, equipping you with the broad music education, high-tech skills and workplace experience demanded by a range of exciting and lucrative industries. The program includes three intersecting areas of focus:

  1. the recording studio;
  2. music and sound for moving image (including for film, games and public installations); and
  3. live and interactive electronic music.

Study options include an array of specialist and supporting courses in music composition and performance, multimedia, film and games, information technology, electronics, business and more.
