There are two options to apply for postgraduate coursework study at Griffith.

Option 1

Apply online via Griffith's online application system.

Option 2

Apply via printing and completing an application form (follow steps 1-5 below):

Step 1: Check for any special or additional application procedures

Some postgraduate coursework programs have special or additional application procedures.

  • Special or additional application procedures

It is important that you check for these specific application procedures for your program. These can include:

  • application to an external service provider such as QTAC (and not Griffith)
  • not filling out the standard application form
  • filling out additional application forms
  • reading and completing other important information

Specific application procedures are available online for the Graduate Diploma of Education programs.

Step 2: Complete the application form

Download the application form:

  • Postgraduate coursework application form (PDF 156k)

Your program entry provides many of the details needed to complete the application form.

Step 3: Gather your supporting documents

Most programs require evidence to support your application. You should refer to page four of your application form for the specific supporting documents required.

Step 4: Submit your application on time

Submit your application to a Griffith Graduate Student Centre.

Application closing dates

Some postgraduate coursework programs have specific or early application closing dates. To avoid disappointment, please check the closing date of your program of interest with any Griffith Graduate Student Centre.

Applications may be submitted at any time before the closing date. Application closing dates are (typically) as follows:

  • Semester 1 applications close on 31 January
  • Semester 2 applications close on 30 June
  • Semester 3 applications close on 15 October

Late applications may be considered if places are available and at the discretion of the relevant Program Convenor.

Please note that not all programs are offered in all semesters.

Step 5: Assessment

Applications are usually assessed within 30 days. We will send you a letter to confirm receipt of your application and an assessment response will be sent shortly thereafter.
