As an off-campus student you can borrow from the library in two ways.
- Go to Griffith University libraries to borrow in person
- Remote borrowing where you request library books to be sent to your home or copies of articles and book chapters to be scanned and sent electronically.

Loan periods and transit times
Loan periods are longer for off-campus students to allow for delivery and return of items. We add an additional 7 days to this initial loan period to cater for this.
Any renewals will be for a normal loan period. For example, the loan period for a Short loan will be 11 days. Each renewal will add only 4 days to the loan period.
You will find a date due slip for each item showing the date they are due back at the library.
Avoid penalties by allowing time for postage so that items are received in the library by the due date.
Returning loans
You have a responsibility to return all materials on time and at your own expense. Please use the address labels provided with your items.
