Griffith staff and students
Griffith staff and students do not need to join the library. Your current Griffith ID card is your library card. It is required for all borrowing transactions. You get your ID card from Student Administration. Off-campus students should complete the
Griffith Alumni
As a Griffith University Alumni Association member you are welcome to continue using the library. The annual borrowing fee is $40.00 (including GST). To join please bring your photo ID (eg. licence) and proof of current address (eg. electricity bill) to the Library Service Desk.
Students and staff from other Australian universities
Reciprocal borrowing is a scheme whereby staff and students of cooperating university libraries in Australia may, on site, borrow library materials from other academic libraries. To join please bring photo ID (Student/Staff card or Drivers Licence), and proof of current enrolment/employment to the Library Service Desk to organise your library membership. A registration fee ($50) may apply for students. Staff are free of charge.
Members of the public
As a member of the public you may join the library for a fee of $110.00 (including GST) per annum or $55.00 (including GST) per 6 months. To join please bring photo ID and proof of current address to the Library Service Desk to register.
Friends of the library
Those interested may join the Friends of the Library network for a fee of $25 (including GST) per annum. Along with a number of other benefits, you will then be eligible for a ten percent discount on becoming a borrowing member of the library. Corporate borrowers
Organisations and businesses are welcome to apply for Corporate membership. This costs $231.00 (including GST) per annum for up to three borrowing cards. To join please bring photo ID and proof of current address to the Library Service Desk to register.
