Griffith’s Celebrating Teaching Gala Nights recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of Griffith teachers who have won National and University teaching excellence awards, grants and citations.
Awards recognised include:
- Griffith Awards for Excellence in Teaching
- Group Learning and Teaching Citations
Australian Awards for University Teaching - ALTC Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning
- Australian Learning and Teaching Council Grants for Learning and Teaching
- Griffith Grants for Learning and Teaching
An awards ceremony followed by light refreshments will be held across two campuses:
- Monday, 29 October 2012
- Ian Hangar Recital Hall
- Queensland Conservatorium
- South Bank campus
and
- Wednesday, 31 October 2012
- Activity Centre
- The Link Building (G07)
- Gold Coast campus
The evenings will commence at 6.30 pm sharp and light refreshments will be served following the award presentations, at approximately 7:30 pm.
All staff of the University are invited to attend.
