About us
We were established in December 2006 as a complementary professional arm to the Griffith Law School.
Our focus is on the delivery of practical, skills-based postgraduate programs.
From 2001 to 2004, we offered our full-time practical legal training program at the Nathan campus.
In 2004, we relocated to the Griffith Graduate Centre on the South Bank campus. This new facility provides us with professional accommodation close to key legal precincts in the CBD. Close to public transport options, students have access to modern computing facilities, state-of-the art teaching rooms and breakout rooms for skills training.
Since July 2006, we have linked with the Migration Agents Registration Authority to provide pre-registration training for migration agents.
In 2007, we commenced delivery of our full-time practical legal training program on the Gold Coast campus.
We also offer a range of professional training programs to the government sector. The Graduate Certificate in Professional Legal Studies provides those undertaking quasi-legal roles with a foundation of theory and practical skills.
Our teaching staff have experience across a range of areas of practice. Small class sizes across all programs underpin our role as mentors and allows for students to develop their skills and confidence at their own pace.
