QCA application deadlines

Application deadline for courses

Semester 1 (Feb-June) - 9th December

Semester 2 (July-Nov) - 1st June

Due to class limits, the opportunity to re-select courses after these dates is limited. If you wish to study solely at QCA please select courses from no more than two disciplines to avoid timetabling clashes (e.g. photography and design or fine arts and art). Students wishing to enrol in any courses from Fine Arts and Photography, including introductory courses, must submit a portfolio with their application.

QCA portfolio requirements

Applicants should submit 25-30 photographs or original works such as drawings, designs, paintings, prints or collages. This work should demonstrate drawing skills, imagination, innovation, or experimentation with process most appropriate to the field you wish to study.

Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University

Studio recording session and training for studentsIf you want to apply for courses offered by QCGU as part of a major study (South Bank campus), selection is based on your performance in an audition, interview, and any tests of musical knowledge and abilities administered by QCGU after your arrival.
