Orientation helps you get off to a great start at Griffith

Through our Welcome Sessions, myOrientation and O-Week events, you can find out all you need to know to get started at Griffith. Orientation also provides opportunities to make new friends and find out what to expect as a Griffith student. You can also learn how to make the most of your first trimester at Griffith and beyond.

International Student Welcome and Orientation

Join us on campus at this compulsory welcome session. Meet your International Student Advisors, peers and learn about the Griffith Mates Program from our Mates.

How to improve your English at Griffith University:

This workshop led by Mr John Smith, Assistant Director of Studies from the Griffith English Language Institute, will provide helpful pointers to our students who are looking for ways to improve their English language skills.

Late arrival  sessions:

If you are arriving to Australia after Orientation week, you will be able to attend our International Student Welcome catch up sessions in Week 1.

New students from China are invited to join an interactive workshop presented by Lockin U China, the China global recruitment expert, to get a head-start on navigating the Chinese job market while you're studying in Australia.

You will be provided with practical employment and careers information to help prepare you to find opportunities in China, including career and job-seeking planning from day one of university life for students from first year to fresh graduates returning to China, and job application tips for the Chinese job market.
