Book your flights and airport collection service

If possible, it is suggested that you book flights that allow you to arrive in Brisbane or the Gold Coast during the day, especially if you have not arranged any temporary or long-term accommodation. Make sure that you aim to arrive at a time that allows you a few days to settle in to your new home and before International Orientation Week. Bookings for the 'free' airport collections service must be made 72 hours prior to departure from your home country.

International Student Orientation
Semester
Dates
Semester 1, 2012
Monday 13th - Friday 20th February
Semester 2, 2012
Monday 9th - Friday 13th July

International Orientation is a compulsory program of events that includes information sessions and activities that will help you to settle in, enrol in classes, find accommodation, gain an understanding of how Griffith University workss and your responsibilities as a student here. Orientation is a great opportunity to meet other new students and make friends from all over the world. You will also get to meet our team of Griffith International MATES, a team of student peers who have chosen by Griffith to assist you and share their knowledge and experience of student life.

Airport collection

If you would like to be met at the airport, we can organise airport collection at the Brisbane and Gold Coast airports for transport to your pre-arranged accommodation.

  • This service must be booked at least 72 hours prior to your departure from your home country
