International students at GriffithGriffith International has staff dedicated to manage, coordinate and comply with the AusAID contract and ensure AusAID students are provided with quality academic and personal support during their studies. If you have any questions or need some help during your stay, contact the Griffith International AusAID support team without delay.

Tutorial assistance

AusAID students are entitled to private tutorial support each teaching period (semester) if they are at risk of failing a subject. This support helps students pass their subjects and ensures they complete their award within the specified scholarship dates. Contact the AusAID support team for more information.

Study Enrichment Allowance

ALA students can access the Study Enrichment Allowance which provides financial assistance to enhance student?s formal studies. Eligible activities may include

  • Fieldwork
  • Relevant conferences
  • Tutorial assistance and thesis editing
  • Purchasing materials particularly relevant to studies
  • Reunion travel

    Free workshops throughout the year for academic, computing and library research skills as well as one-on-one academic assistance

  • EnglishHELP - Discipline specific English language support in the form of group tutorials or one-on-one help

Student clubs and societies

Join a student club or society and play an active role in the University community. There are approximately 50 Brisbane and Gold coast based clubs at Griffith ranging from educational and professional, political, recreational, social and cultural to religious and sporting clubs.

  • Campus Life (Brisbane students) and the Student Guild (Gold Coast students) provide support and information on events, accommodation, clubs and sporting activites
