VPN Software Installation for Mac
The VPN software will not run on Mac systems prior to OS X.
Go to the VPN software download web page and download the version for your operating system.
- Double-click the new Wireless@Griffith icon when the software has downloaded
- The CiscoVPN Client installer window should open
- Double-click the Cisco VPN Client.mpkg icon to launch the Cisco VPN Client installer

- Click Continue to accept the installation prompts to install the software
- Read and agree to the software licence agreement
- You must install VPN onto your primary hard disk
- Click Install
- Type your computer's administration username and password into the Authenticate window
- Click Close
The VPN software installs into your Applications folder.
To launch the VPN Client
- Go to your Applications folder
- Double-click the VPN Client icon
- Highlight Griffith Remote Access (Vlink) if you are logging in from your home computer using a private Internet Service Provider
- Highlight Wireless@Griffith if you are logging in via Wireless@Griffith in a campus Smart Zone
- Click the Connect icon
- Enter your Griffith username and password into the User Authentication for Wirless@Griffith window
- Agree to the Griffith University Code of Practice
You should now be able to access Griffith restricted resources including library databases.
