Resource selection and evaluation, and collection development

This service includes the selection and evaluation of resources for library collections and educational resource development, and the management of information resource budgets within discipline areas.

The policies relating to the development of the library collection and access to electronic database services are outlined in the Collection Development and Information Access Policy manual.

Faculty Librarians

Faculty librarians are specialist information professionals who work in partnership with designated Faculties to support learning, teaching and research at Griffith University. As a subject specialist, your Faculty Librarian has a close understanding of the literature and research tools in your discipline and can assist with your information needs. As a teaching or research staff member or postgraduate student, your Faculty Librarian can:

  1. Faculty Librarian by Schools or Institute
    Find out who the Faculty Librarian is for each faculty and/or department.
  2. Faculty Librarian Details
    Contact details and information about your Faculty Librarian.

This is a core service and is provided free of charge. You can request this service by contacting your EP&S team's faculty librarian.
