This document outlines Griffith University's policies in relation to the use of Information Services public spaces, including libraries, computer laboratories and learning centres.

Griffith University Copyright Guide
This document is presented as a general guide to the observance of copyright law at Griffith. It is University policy to observe restrictions on dealing with copyright material, as laid down in Australian law.  A Copyright Guide for Students provides specific guidance to students on observance of copyright law at Griffith.

Web Policies

Web Collection Management Policy
This policy and its associated schedules describe the management of web services and web content (the Web Collection) within Griffith University. Schedule 1 describes the roles and responsibilities of staff involved in the management of web delivered information and content that is published on the University's Web Servers. Schedule 2 describes the management process for the review and expiration of web content within Griffith University.

Web Services Naming Policy
This policy and its associated schedule establish standards and processes for the selection and configuration of web service names used to publish and access the University's Web or Internet Services.

Policy for Publishing University Web Addresses
This policy supports the University’s branding and overall communication strategies by setting standards for publishing and otherwise referencing web addresses for web based information and services at Griffith University.

Griffith University Website Publication Guidelines
This information is intended for all web developers who may perform web development work for a Griffith client. This page outlines minimum standards and requirements. Developers must be familiar with these minimum requirements before they begin design or development work for Griffith sites. Pages on sites that do not conform to these minimum standards will not be published on the Grifith University site or other sites that are subject to these element based standards.
