The Calamus climbing palms, "lawyer vines" and large leaved vines e.g. Meremmia grow rampantly over the canopy of damaged forests, cyclone damage is frequent in this region and logging is an additional man-induced impact.
Mesophyll vine forest with eucalyptus emergents on sandy granitic alluvium on tropical humid lowlands.
