Mountainous part of Dorrigo Plateau ca. 600 metres and above, variety of schists and basalts with warm temperate rainforest (simple not-/microphyll vine-fern forest) plus cool temperate rainforest (microphyll mossy-fern forest and "wet sclerophyll forest" patches at higher altitudes and southern cooler aspects.
