Note line of pylons in small clearings, beginning near edge of cane farm. The cable car enables observation of excellent transect from broken-canopied (cycloned) tropical lowland rainforest (complex mesophyll vine forest, Type 1a) at base, through simple notophyll/microphyll vine forest (Types 8, 9), on cloudy wet uplands and highlands (submontane, cf. warm temperate, with increasingly streamlined canopies), and finally windswept cloudy wet summit with microphyll vine-fern thicket (Type 10) (montane, cf. stunted cool temperate or "elfin woodland").
