Note "beehive" crowns different from Hoop Pine (Araucaria cunninghamii). Relict Dicksonia antarctica fern in foreground along moist shady creek, indicating (along with relict Poa caespitosa dominated grass balds) past cooler wetter (cool temperate) climate). Altitude ca. 930 metres, annual rainfall averaging 1500+ mm, augmented by "cloud-combing" of "horizontal precipitation" (cloud-mist), especially during winter lower rainfall months.
