information services organisational chartInformation Services has a long and proud tradition of providing quality service to Griffith students and staff. It also has an international reputation for being innovative and cutting-edge in the deployment of emerging technologies.

However, in the face of an increasingly competitive, rapidly changing external environment, we need to constantly re-assess our alignment with the University’s strategic priorities both now and in the future. To this end, we have established three leadership domains which reflect the University’s strategic imperatives. These domains are led by:

Linda O'Brien

Pro Vice Chancellor

Ms Linda O'Brien is the Pro Vice Chancellor (Information Services). Linda provides leadership to the University on all matters relating to information resources and systems, and is responsible for ensuring the deployment of these resources and systems are aligned with the University's strategic priorities. Linda is a member of the University's senior management team.

The three domains

These three portfolios are supported by the Planning Office which has been established to ensure that our governance and planning processes reinforce our alignment with the University’s strategic priorities and drive the achievement of our mission and goals.

Bruce Callow

Mr Bruce Callow is the Director, Information Services (Information and Communication Technology Services). Bruce provides leadership in information and communication technology to enhance the University’s business and is the primary INS representative on administrative matters.
