Industrial Affiliates Program
The Industrial Affiliates program allows students to obtain valuable experience working in their chosen industry.
The Industrial Affiliates Program is a Work-Integrated Learning program that has been designed to integrate students into the workplace through the completion of an industry based project. It is designed to benefit both the student as well as the industry partner.
This is an opportunity for industry partners to have a willing and dedicated individual working on industry projects using a fresh and innovative approach, and also to bridge the gap for students entering the workplace.
The Industrial Affiliates Program has operated since 1993, with over 1100 industry placements in over 180 different industry organisations.
Students in their final year of study in the following degree programs are eligible to enroll in the Industrial Affiliates Program - Environmental Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, Computer and Communication Technology, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science, Marine Science, Information Technology, Multimedia, Environmental Science, Planning, Management & Policy. New in 2010, students undertaking Masters of Engineering or Masters of Information Technology as an elective.
