Literary Studies enables you to explore and understand some of the most interesting literature of the modern world, whether it's drama, poetry or fiction. Here you can study British, Australian and American literary works, often in their historical context. This provides you with a broad understanding of modern Western culture and a set of high-powered analytical reading tools that you can use in any career.
In Creative Writing, you have the opportunity to work with members of staff who are award-winning writers, and learn how to hone your craft, whether it's writing stories, film scripts or digital poetry.
