Research expertise
- Dr Muller’s areas of research interest are the psychological effects of unemployment and interventions to improve well-being
- She is currently conducting research using a new qualitative methodology (visual psychology) to integrate psychology with photodocumentary practice
- Her research interests are broadly in the areas of unemployment and mental health, and in many instances she focusses on applying the findings to assist the general health of the community.
Current teaching areas
- Dr Muller is the Convenor of an Honours course that covers a range of professional issues in psychology, both from a theoretical and applied perspective.
- She also co-teaches an undergraduate subject broadly covering career development.
- Dr Muller has supervised numerous honours level theses in a broad range of areas, and has also supervised Masters and Doctoral students in Psychology.
