Research topic title:
Health Risk Behaviour in 18 - 30 year olds: A Psychosocial Model
Description
Designing and testing a psychosocial model of health risk behaviour for emerging adults (18-30 year olds). The model will aim to predict the factors (personality, social, cognitive, and emotional) that are likely to influence an emerging adult's decision to engage in a range of health risk behaviours including alcohol and drug use, unsafe sexual behaviour, and dangerous driving. This model will hopefully guide future attempts at intervention and provide a greater understanding as to why people engage in such behaviour.
