Programs and courses
The School delivers a range of Psychology programs from certificate to Bachelors degrees and postgraduate including Masters, Professional Doctorate and Research Higher degrees. All bachelors and coursework postgraduate degrees are fully accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
Undergraduate (Bachelors) degree programs including double degrees
The Psychology undergraduate degree programs form the first step in the process for you to commence your psychology qualification.
Psychological Science Honours program
This Honours program is for non-Griffith applicants and students enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychological Science. Note, the fourth year of the Bachelor of Psychology program is an honours year. If you are already enrolled in that program, there is no need to apply for the Psychological Science (Honours) program as well.
Postgraduate Psychology programs
These postgraduate programs are open to students who have already gained or are eligible to gain registration as a psychologist in the State of Queensland.
Research Higher Degree programs
These research programs are available in the professional areas of clinical and organisational psychology or as research-only degrees. To view a sample of the research projects being undertaken by students in the School go to Research Higher Degree projects.
Certificate programs in psychology
If you are not successful in obtaining a place in the Griffith psychology program that most interests you or you would like to sample some psychology courses, you can elect to enrol in a psychology continuing education certificate program.
Courses
To find information on courses offered by the School of Psychology select one of the search methods in the Griffith Course Catalogue. Griffith's courses may also be known as Units or Subjects at other universities. All current psychology course codes contain the suffix PSY and can generally also be found in the program structure of the psychology degrees.
