Physiotherapy and Exercise Science students in group study at the Gold Coast campus

The positive effect of physical activity on health and well-being is recognised as an important factor in lifestyle disease prevention. The study of physical activity from many perspectives underpins the degree programs offered by the School of Physiotherapy and Exercise Science.

Our mission is to prepare you as a professional with industry-ready skills who is committed to serving the community either as an exercise specialist, sports psychologist, rehabilitation manager, recreation manager, high performance coach, physical education teacher or physiotherapist. Each of these broad careers is focused on the prevention of ill-health through physical activity and sound practice.
