Research at the School of Pharmacy falls under four major streams covering pharmacy practice, pharmacology, pharmaceutics and complementary medicine. Within the School, researchers are actively investigating a range of topics in these areas such as infection, antibiotic resistance, tumor resistance, medication stability, pharmacy legislation and identifying bioactive compounds from Australian medicinal plants.
The School also offers students the opportunity to undertake a number of research-based degrees in these fields. Students can select from undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs. These programs can vary in length from one to three years which gives students the flexibility needed to plan their research careers.
