Biographical information
Creina Mitchell is a lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Griffith University, Gold Coast campus. Prior to entering the higher education sector, Creina worked in hospital, local government, state government and research environments; predominately in areas related to maternal and child health. Creina is an active member of the Queensland Child and Family Health Nurses Association (QCAFHNA) and she is the Queensland representative on the National Board of Australian Association of Maternal, Child and Family Health Nurses (AAMCFHN). Creina’s research interests include maternal and child health, immunisation and community health. Her methodological interests include randomised trials, data management, quantitative research and survey methods. Creina has published in peer reviewed journals and presented findings from her collaborative research at national and international conferences.
