Biographical information
Elisabeth Coyne is a RN and Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Griffith University, Logan. She has 27 years’ experience in the acute hospital sector and 7 years’ experience teaching in tertiary education. Elisabeth’s PhD is titled ‘What are the strengths and resources young women (<50years) and their family members use during treatment for breast cancer’. In 2008, Elisabeth was awarded a CNSA research grant and the RCNA Research Scholarship. In 2009 Elisabeth is the Centaur Fellowship recipient. Elisabeth has shown continued commitment to the nursing profession working closely with the registered nurses to ensure her continued understanding of the clinical issues.
