Biography

Vinod Gopalan undertook his undergraduate degree in Homoeopathy, Medicine and Surgery from University of Kerala, India. During Vinod's internship he did research on the role of complimentary medicines in the palliative care for cancer patients. After completing his internship in Kerala, India, he joined Griffith University. He completed his Masters in Medical Research in the School of Medicine. His research project was on cancer molecular pathology in which he focused on bowel cancers.

Since 2008, Vinod has been an active academic and researcher within the School of Medicine and he is currently doing his PhD in Cancer Pathology.
