Biography
Professor Lam undertook his undergraduate medical degree at University of Hong Kong and then completed basic physician training in Queen Mary Hospital and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. During this time he undertook postgraduate studies at University of Hong Kong and Griffith University in the field of molecular pathology of cancer culminating in a PhD and Doctor of Medicine.
He is currently a staff specialist within the Department of Pathology at Gold Coast Hospital. He provides specialist services in anatomical pathology and consultative pathology diagnostic services for endocrine pathology and oral/head and neck pathology.

- Colorectal cancer molecular pathology
- Oral, oesophageal, head/neck cancers molecular pathology
