Biography
Dr Louisa Gordon is a Senior Research Fellow within the Centre for Applied Health Economics, School of Medicine, Griffith University. Dr Gordon has previously worked in the fields of finance, public health and health services research. Her interests lay in developing a career in economic evaluations and to date, this has been focused in the field of supportive cancer care.
Most recently, Louisa has published in the areas of oesophageal, ovarian and skin cancer and currently leads an ARC Discovery project involving employment outcomes following a diagnosis of colorectal cancer. She currently holds NHMRC Postdoctoral Public Health Fellowship until December 2012. Dr Gordon also has a visiting scientist appointment with QIMR and is a Honorary Fellow at QUT.
