Biography

Dr Petcu undertook his undergraduate medical degree at Universitatea din Craiova, Facultatea de Medicina in Romania. After completing his internship in Craiova, Romania, he moved to New Zealand where he graduated from The University of Auckland, School of Medicine, with a Masters of Health Sciences in Pharmacology. He then completed his specialist training in Pathology in the United States  at Mallory Institute of Pathology, Boston University Medical Center. Eugen undertook postgraduate studies in Germany at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald, Section of Molecular Neurobiology, culminating in a PhD awarded with magna cum laude in Neurobiology.
