Biography
Associate Professor Nusem undertook his undergraduate medical degree at Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Israel. Iulian completed fellowships in adult reconstruction and surgery of the hand, and he is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Iulian is currently the Director of Orthopaedics at Logan Hospital and holds an Academic Title of Associate Professor with Griffith University, School of Medicine.
Research interests
- Is the Kessler grasping suture as safe as a four strand suture for early active ROM pritocols after flexor tendon repair?
- The role of mammography films in the diagnosis of occult scaphoid fractures.
- The accuracy of clinical signs combination in the diagnosis of occult scaphoid fractures.
- Cement penetration using a syringe cement pressurizer and aspiration of the tibia in total knee arthroplasty.
