Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery
A degree in medicine provides a pathway to multiple career opportunities including specialist clinical practice, primary care medicine, medical research and medical education.
Graduates from the Griffith program will be eligible for limited registration as medical practitioners. Upon successfully completing a subsequent one-year internship in a hospital system, you will receive full registration by the State Medical Board. After completing at least one further year of residency in the hospital system, you will usually be eligible to start postgraduate specialty training in the clinical environment.
