This degree program provides the opportunity to complete both the Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours in three years.

Students are introduced to medical research under the guidance of an academic staff mentor and advanced research training is undertaken within the laboratories of GHI.

The program develops the knowledge and skills in modern medical science, emphasising their application to biomedical research, medicine and the health science professions.

Students undertake advanced research training within this program which provides an ideal pathway to PhD studies.

In year one you will be introduced to the basic sciences underpinning biomedical research.

In years two and three your core studies will explore more advanced aspects of the biomedical and clinical sciences.

During summer semesters you will undertake a research project under the guidance of your academic staff mentor in GHI.

This program provides you with enriched research experience, including the opportunity to receive laboratory skills and thorough training in applied scientific research and methodology.
