The School delivers a range of Psychology programs from certificate to Bachelors degrees and postgraduate including Masters, Professional Doctorate and Research Higher degrees. All bachelors and coursework postgraduate degrees are fully accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.

In addition, our postgraduate clinical and organisational psychology programs are approved by the Australian Psychological Society's College of Clinical Psychology and College Organisational Psychology, respectively for eligibility to become a member of those colleges.

Undergraduate (Bachelors) degree programs including double degrees

The Psychology undergraduate degree programs form the first step in the process for you to commence your psychology qualification.

Psychological Science Honours program

This Honours program is for non-Griffith applicants and students enrolled in the Bachelor of Psychological Science. Note, the fourth year of the Bachelor of Psychology program is an honours year. If you are already enrolled in that program, there is no need to apply for the Psychological Science (Honours) program as well.

Postgraduate Psychology programs

These postgraduate programs are open to students who have already gained or are eligible to gain registration as a psychologist in the State of Queensland.

The School provides professional supervision to assist students to gain Registration as a Psychologist.  Currently Judi Pears (www.alternativesconsulting.com ) and Leonie Horrigan (www.peopleperform.com.au) are engaged as Supervisor Training and Accreditation Program accredited supervisors to provide individual and group supervision for students completing postgraduate Organisational Psychology programs. Their practical knowledge and experience as Organisational Psychologists is well-regarded by the students and adds value to the supervision program.

Research Higher Degree programs

These research programs are available in the professional areas of clinical and organisational psychology or as research-only degrees. To view a sample of the research projects being undertaken by students in the School go to Research Higher  Degree projects.

Certificate programs in psychology

If you are not successful in obtaining a place in the Griffith psychology program that most interests you or you would like to sample some psychology courses, you can elect to enrol in a psychology continuing  education certificate program.
