Research

Our research units are conceptualised as a 'population' by 'context' matrix. We work with several populations (women and children, disability/chronic illness, mental health, aged, indigenous) and have research expertise in several contexts (acute care, community health and human services, families, broad communities, workplaces).

Our research innovations are created by examining:

  1. congregation of population and context; and
  2. transitions between and within the population and context

To generate innovations in specific areas, we support four major research units:

In addition, the research centre also has an emerging area of research called Nutrition.

Our visiting scholars program enhances our research units and our Grants page demonstrates some of our research projects.
