Master of Public Health

The Master of Public Health, incorporating the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma is a unique postgraduate degree designed to prepare health professionals from a broad range of backgrounds with knowledge and skills from a variety of disciplines to define, assess critically and resolve public health problems.

It takes 1.5 years full-time or 3 years part-time to complete. You can study full-time and part-time on campus (with classes from 5pm) or, full-time and part-time via flexible 'external' delivery mode.

Population growth, environmental challenges, nutritional policies and changing social patterns have significant consequences for the well-being of our communities. Public health professionals are in high demand both in Australia and overseas to reduce the pressure on our health systems and our environment.

Graduates of the Master of Public Health will be equipped with advanced skills for practice in a range of public health roles.
